What is WrightSeat

WrightSeat connects private pilots with passengers, also pilots, who are looking to share a flight. The app allows pilots to offer empty seats on their private planes to passengers who want to travel to the same destination or a nearby location.

WrightSeat provides a user-friendly interface for pilots to post their flight details, including the departure and arrival times, the departure and destination airports, and the number of available seats. Passengers can search for available flights based on their preferred location and time, and then book a seat with the pilot.

WrightSeat also includes features to help pilots and passengers communicate, such as a messaging system and a map of the flight route. It may also include features for pilots to verify their credentials and for passengers to provide feedback on their experience.

Pilots can offset the cost of flying by sharing the expenses with passengers. Situational awareness improves with two pilots on board instead of one. Additionally, flying together reduces the carbon footprint of private aviation by making more efficient use of existing resources.
